Accounts And Contacts
Accounts and Contacts form the customer-side foundation of EmmyCore.
Accounts
An Account is a company or organization in EmmyCore. Accounts can represent customers, prospects, partners, or other business entities depending on your setup.
Accounts can be connected to:
- Contacts
- Projects
- Candidates
- Opportunities or sales records, if enabled
- Contracts and offers, if enabled
- Activities, emails, notes, and tasks
Use Accounts to keep company-level master data and relationship history in one place.
Contacts
Contacts are people connected to an Account. In recruiting workflows, they are usually customer-side stakeholders such as hiring managers, HR contacts, interviewers, or decision makers.
Maintaining Contact data helps teams understand:
- Who is involved in a Project
- Which role a person has at the customer
- Who should receive communication
- Which customer relationships already exist
Relation To Projects
Projects are usually linked to an Account. They can also reference customer-side Contacts as Project participants or points of contact.
This relationship is important because it connects the recruiting assignment to the customer organization and makes communication traceable.
Activities
Emails, calls, notes, and tasks can be tracked against Accounts and Contacts. This helps teams maintain a shared history of customer communication.
For user-facing activity guidance, see Activities, Notes, And Tasks.
