Posting To Career Site
Posting publishes Project information from EmmyCore to a career site or external provider.
The exact posting flow depends on the customer's implementation and API integration.
Prerequisites
Before posting is enabled, the required Project fields must be aligned with the available EmmySoft API definition and the career-site provider.
The provider needs to know which fields to read and how to render them on the career site.
Required Fields
The standard required posting fields are:
- Project title: the title shown for the role
- Project URL: generated or synchronized from the connected product setup
- Status: usually must be
Open - Posting date: the trigger that releases the Project for posting
If required fields are missing, the Project may not appear on the career site.
Common Posting Content
Posting content usually includes three main parts:
- Introduction
- Tasks or responsibilities
- Candidate requirements
Some tenants keep these parts in separate fields. Others use one combined Project description block.
Additional optional fields can include:
- Benefits
- Industry
- Posting owner
- Alternative headline
- Subline
External Logos
Some postings use external logos, such as a customer logo.
Typical workflow:
- Upload the logo to the Project's related files.
- Edit the file details.
- Add the configured posting marker in the file description, for example
Posting. - Create a public file link where required.
- Disable link expiration if the provider needs persistent access.
Only use public links when this matches the customer's approved posting process.
Additional Project Properties
Some tenants use related Project properties for posting data. These fields can vary heavily by customer setup.
Use the configured Project posting section as the source of truth for which fields your tenant expects.
Posting Trigger
In the standard process, posting requires:
- The Project status is open.
- Required posting fields are filled.
- The posting date is set.
After that, EmmyCore can expose the Project for export through the configured JSON/API endpoint. The career-site provider reads that data and displays it on the website.
