Documents
Documents in EmmyCore can be connected to Candidates, Projects, and related records.
Candidate Documents
Candidate documents usually include CVs, profiles, certificates, assessments, and other candidate-related files.
Typical workflow:
- Open the Candidate page.
- Open the documents area.
- Select the add or upload action.
- Upload the file.
- Choose the document type where required.
- Save the document.
Candidate documents can be used in internal review workflows and may also become visible in EmmyPortal if sharing rules allow it.
Project Documents
Project documents can include role briefings, customer documents, posting assets, or Project-specific attachments.
Depending on setup, Project documents may be managed from the Project record or from related files.
File Types
Supported file types depend on Salesforce and tenant configuration.
Common document workflows use PDFs and office documents. Some downstream products, such as EmmyPortal, may preview PDFs and list other files as downloads.
Visibility
Document visibility depends on:
- Record access
- User permissions
- Document type
- Tenant configuration
- Portal sharing rules, if EmmyPortal is enabled
If a document is missing from another EmmySoft product, check whether the document exists in EmmyCore, whether it has the right type, and whether the related Candidate or Project is shared.
