Introduction
EmmyPortal is an interactive portal for recruiting collaboration. It helps stakeholders stay aligned on Projects and Candidates, review documents, and communicate in context.
It is designed as the shared workspace of the EmmySoft product suite: a place where recruiting activity becomes visible in a structured, client-friendly interface.
What you use it for
- Keeping clients and stakeholders informed with real-time process visibility
- Enabling hands-on collaboration and communication during active searches
- Using dashboards and analytics to get insights from recruiting activity
Related capabilities
EmmyPortal is part of the EmmySoft Suite:
- EmmyCore is the ATS foundation and source of truth.
- EmmyPortal provides a shared, visual workspace for collaboration.
- EmmyScore adds scoring and screening capabilities.
In day-to-day usage, EmmyCore manages the underlying recruiting data, while EmmyPortal presents the parts of that data that should be visible in a collaborative portal experience.
Data synchronization
Most data displayed in EmmyPortal is synchronized from EmmyCore.
- Synchronization is performed by an internal sync service (bulk-syncer) and typically updates about once per minute.
- Some tenants may see a sync status indicator in the header (primarily for internal users). It provides a best-effort signal, not a guaranteed SLA.
This means changes made in the underlying system may not appear instantly in EmmyPortal.
Tenant configuration
Not every tenant shows every feature or field. Customers can request certain views, components, or fields to be hidden.
Examples include:
- Hidden tabs or fields
- Disabled internal portal capabilities
- Disabled EmmyBI access
- Hidden Company Analysis access
Because of this, your portal may look slightly different from screenshots in other customer environments.
