Projects

Create, view, and manage recruiting Projects in EmmyCore.

A Project is a recruiting assignment for a customer. It contains the commercial setup, role requirements, internal team, customer contacts, posting information, and Candidates moving through the recruiting process.

In some EmmyCore screens, the Salesforce UI may still label Projects as Jobs.

Creating A Project

You can create a Project in two common ways:

  • Open the Projects area and select New.
  • Use the arrow next to the Projects navigation item and select the create action, if your layout provides it.

After selecting the create action, EmmyCore opens a form where you enter the Project information.

Important Fields

The exact fields depend on configuration, but the standard Project setup can include these areas.

Basic Information

  • Account: the customer or company connected to the Project
  • Project name: a clear name for the role or search
  • Start date: when the Project or role should begin
  • Application deadline: when applications should be submitted by
  • Publication date: when the Project should be published, if posting is enabled
  • Open positions: number of available positions
  • Status: current state of the Project

Common Project statuses include:

  • Concept: the Project is still being prepared
  • Open: the Project is active and can receive applications
  • Closed: the Project no longer receives applications

Project Team

/// TODO: Add JobUser and JobContacts description.

Project team fields define internal responsibility.

Typical roles include:

  • Consultant
  • Project manager
  • Project coordinator
  • Research

These assignments are often used for ownership, visibility, reporting, and personal list views.

Workplace

Workplace fields describe where and how the role is performed.

They can include:

  • Location
  • Postal code
  • Region
  • Country
  • Remote work options

Contract Details

Contract-related fields can include:

  • Salary range
  • Maximum remote work days
  • Weekly working hours
  • Daily working time
  • Contract type
  • Employment type
  • Conditions and benefits

Possible contract types can include permanent employment, fixed-term employment, freelancer, mini-job, or recruiting-agency contract, depending on configuration.

Project Name Generation

In many setups, EmmyCore generates the final Project display name after saving.

The generated name can combine the Account and entered Project name, for example:

  • Account: Siemens AG
  • Project name: Product Manager
  • Generated Project name: Siemens AG 002 Product Manager

The exact naming logic can vary by tenant.

Project List Views

The Projects area shows saved list views. You can select a list view from the dropdown next to the view title.

Depending on configuration, Projects can be displayed as:

  • Table
  • Kanban
  • Split view

Use table views for structured filtering and sorting. Use Kanban views when you want to understand Projects by status or process stage.

My Projects

There are two common ways for EmmyCore to identify Projects that belong to you:

  • You are the Project owner.
  • You are assigned as part of the Project team.

Standard Salesforce My Projects behavior usually works from ownership. Tenant-specific list views may also include team membership, so internal admins often configure additional filters for team-based access.

Project Detail Page

The Project detail page is the operational workspace for a recruiting assignment.

It can include:

  • Project details
  • Posting information
  • Contract details
  • Requirements
  • Customer contacts
  • Internal Project team
  • Candidate overview
  • Candidate workflow steps
  • Documents and related records
  • Reports or pipeline views

Candidate Overview

The Candidate area on a Project shows Candidates assigned to the Project and where they are in the workflow.

Depending on configuration, this overview can show:

  • Workflow steps
  • Number of Candidates in each step
  • Candidate filters
  • V-card view
  • Table view

The table view is useful for operational filtering and bulk work. The V-card view is better for quickly reviewing profile summaries.
