EmmyCore
FAQ
Common EmmyCore questions and troubleshooting notes.
Why do some screens still say Job?
These docs use Project as the canonical term. Some Salesforce labels or older EmmyCore screens may still use Job for the same concept.
Why is a field or tab missing?
EmmyCore is tenant-specific. Missing fields or tabs usually mean one of these applies:
- Your user does not have permission.
- The feature is not enabled for your tenant.
- The page layout was customized.
- The field exists in a different tab or related section.
Why is a Candidate not visible in EmmyPortal?
Candidate visibility in EmmyPortal can require several conditions:
- The Candidate is assigned to a Project.
- The Candidate was shared to EmmyPortal.
- Required GDPR/privacy conditions are fulfilled.
- The Candidate reached the configured presentation stage or later.
- The external user has access to the Project.
Why did a Candidate import create a duplicate warning?
EmmyCore detected a possible existing Candidate. Review the duplicate before creating a new record so the Candidate history does not become fragmented.
Why did career-site posting not work?
Check whether:
- The Project status is open.
- Required posting fields are filled.
- Posting date is set.
- The Project URL exists if required.
- The provider is reading the configured API/JSON endpoint.
Why does the browser plugin not connect?
Check whether:
- The EmmyCore URL is correct.
- You are logged into EmmyCore in the same browser.
- Third-party cookies are allowed.
- The extension is up to date.
- Your tenant has the integration enabled.
