Why Is My Candidate Not Showing?
Common reasons:
- External users only see candidates that were explicitly shared to EmmyPortal.
- External users only see candidates once they are past the presentation step configured in EmmyCore.
- Candidates may require GDPR sharing consent before they become visible to external users.
- Filters can hide candidates (for example: inactive candidates, step filters, portal state filters).
- Internal portal features require both an internal account and internal portal enabled for your tenant.
- Recent changes may take up to a minute to appear due to synchronization.
If the candidate should already be visible, wait briefly and refresh the page before escalating the issue.

Why Can't I See A Project?
Projects must be assigned to your account.
Only internal users can access the Admin Console.
If you are missing a Project, contact your internal admin to assign it.
If you recently received access, a short synchronization delay may apply.
Why Don't I See EmmyBI?
EmmyBI may not be enabled for every tenant or user.
If you do not see EmmyBI in the sidebar, contact your internal admin or your EmmySoft contact to request access.
If you are using Safari and dashboards do not load, try another browser.
Why Do I See Different Buttons Than Another User?
Portal functionality is layered by:
- User type (external vs internal)
- Tenant configuration
- Role-based permissions
- Product access
Two users in the same customer environment can therefore see different buttons, tabs, or menu entries.
Why Is Company Analysis Missing?
Company Analysis is usually configured for internal users and may be hidden for some tenants entirely.
If you do not see it in the sidebar, contact your internal admin or your EmmySoft contact.
Why Can't I Open A Document?
Document access depends on your permissions and tenant configuration.
If you receive an access error, contact your internal admin or your EmmySoft contact.
External users have stricter document access than internal users.
