- Candidate impressions
- Customer requirements
- Context for colleagues
- Important details that do not require a follow-up action
Examples:
Candidate is available from July and prefers remote work.Customer is hiring urgently and has budget flexibility.Strong conversation; candidate seems motivated and open to change.
Notes can usually be found on the relevant record, such as a Candidate, Account, Contact, or Project.
Tasks
Tasks are actionable to-dos with ownership and due dates.
Use tasks to answer:
- What needs to be done?
- Who is responsible?
- When is it due?
- Which Candidate, Project, Account, or Contact is it related to?
Typical tasks include:
- Follow up with a Candidate
- Call a customer
- Request feedback
- Prepare an interview
- Follow up on an offer
Notes Vs Tasks
Use a note when you want to store information.
Use a task when someone needs to do something.
Example:
- Note:
Candidate is interested. - Task:
Call Candidate in two days.
Best Practice
After important conversations:
- Add a short note describing what was discussed.
- Create a task for the next concrete action.
- Link both to the relevant Candidate, Project, Account, or Contact.
