Newsletters
Newsletter functionality supports campaign-based communication from EmmyCore.
Newsletter features must be configured before users can run the workflows described here.
User Configuration
Users need the correct Salesforce license, profile, and permissions to work with newsletters.
This setup is usually handled by an admin. If newsletter actions are missing, check user permissions first.
Recipient Groups
Recipient groups define who receives a customer-facing newsletter.
Typical workflow:
- Open the newsletter group area.
- Create a new group.
- Give the group a clear name.
- Add customer Contacts to the group.
Recipient groups can then be selected when creating a newsletter campaign.
Newsletter Campaigns
A newsletter campaign defines the newsletter content and send configuration.
Common fields include:
- Campaign name
- Start date
- Newsletter group
- Subject
- Email template
- Sender address
Newsletter logs can be used to review send results or failed delivery entries.
Adding Candidates To A Newsletter
Candidates can be added to a newsletter campaign from Candidate-related records or Project candidate selections, depending on configuration.
Before sending, review fields such as:
- Salutation or preferred language
- Candidate source
- Selected Candidates
- Email template
- Subject
This review helps avoid sending the wrong language or wrong campaign content.
Scheduling A Newsletter
To schedule a newsletter, set the campaign start date and complete the required send configuration.
The exact send time can be controlled by setup configuration rather than the visible start date alone.
Use newsletter logs to check the send result after execution.
